Administrative interest rate is the interest rate the amount of which is prone to change based on a decision of the Bank. The terms based on which the variability of interest rate is considered are the following:
- Change in the average amount of fees charged for mandatory reserves held with CBBiH (source: CBBH data)
- Entry at force of amendments to legal regulations referring to minimum legal reserves prescribed by the Central Bank of BiH, the Law on Banks, or any other applicable law, instruction, policies, or any change in the interpretation of such acts by any competent state or regulatory body
- Interest rates and terms/situation at the market (source: CBBiH data)
ProCredit Bank d.d. Gives consideration to the said parameters at semi-annual basis, as well as the following:
- In case that the following has taken place with regard to the latest period considered:
- mandatory reserve rate reduced by 10% or more, or
- mandatory reserve rate at the savings accounts increased by 10% or more, or
- average rate at the level of banking sector for a vista retail KM deposits reduced by 5% or more
The Bank may issue decision on reduction of interest rates on savings accounts, but not exceeding 0.5%.
- In case that the following has taken place with regard to the latest period considered:
- mandatory reserve rate increased by 10% or more
- mandatory reserve rate at savings accounts reduced by 10% or more, or
- average rate at the level of the banking sector on retail a vista KM deposits increased by 5% or more
The Bank may issue a decision to increase interest rates on savings accounts, but not more than 0.5%.
The Bank will notify its clients of such a change, if it involves reduction of interest rates, at least 30 days in advance through a notification displayed at the bank’s premises.
