ProCredit Bank has been supporting the economy for 25 years

One of the most inspiring stories of the Bosnian economy is undoubtedly the story of ProCredit Bank, which may serve as a shining example of how noble goals in the beginning can lead to success over time.

This bank, in the company of partners, friends, and colleagues, celebrated a significant and important jubilee, 25 years of economic support, on Thursday, June 2 in the Botanical Garden of the National Museum.

Why is it that economic assistance is commemorated but not ProCredit Bank’s birthday?

This was explained by Amir Salkanovic, President of the Management Board: “We see our role in the financial market of Bosnia and Herzegovina primarily as a partnership and advisory., we tried to master the knowledge and skills from the scope of our partners, business entities, in order to be a solid support and help in making important decisions for them,” said Salkanovic, who also mentioned that ProCredit Bank has its own integrated education system, ProCredit Academy.

The visitors, or as they say at ProCredit Bank – friends and partners – enjoyed a cocktail party in the wonderful environment of the Botanical Garden, and the lively virtuoso cellist Ana Rucner contributed to the great atmosphere in a distinctive way.

“This is our first 25, and we have now reached full maturity,” says Amina Durmo Trlin, a member of ProCredit Bank’s Management board. Looking back, we recognize that we have made significant progress and pioneered dramatic transformation, such as in the field of digital business. ” Durmo Trlin emphasized that the green economy and energy transformation, as well as the manner each individual client is addressed, are all important,” he said.

“We just do not want to stand by and watch change happen; we want to be a part of it. We’re energetic enough to have that kind of zeal and experienced enough to know which projects are worthwhile to invest in and monitor their progress” she stated towards the end.

The attendees during the celebration of ProCredit Bank’s quarter-century of economic support confirmed that the bank is much more than a financial organization today. The ultimate conclusion is that they are dependable partners who not only understand the demands of enterprises, but also seek to be part of the solution and the starter of new ideas.
