The excellent partnership between ProCredit Bank and the FBiH Development Bank continues

A meeting of representatives of the Management FBiH Development Bank and the Management Board of ProCredit Bank d.d. was held on the premises of the FBiH Development Bank, between Amir Salkanović, President of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank d.d. Sarajevo, Amina Durmo Trlin, Member of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank d.d. Sarajevo, and President of the Management Board of the Development Bank of FBiH doc. dr. sc. Mersihe Slipičević.

So far, collaboration has been discussed, with the emphasis mostly on the FBiH Government’s Guarantee Fund. ProCredit Bank d.d. Sarajevo has utilised 69 guarantees from RBFBiH through this fund so far, with a total of 14.5 million KM of guarantee requests authorized, 29 million KM of credit funds were provided under exceptionally advantageous lending circumstances, with the majority of the funds going to exporters and groups of micro, small, and medium firms. This kind of collaboration between ProCredit Bank d.d. Sarajevo and the FBiH Development Bank have shown to be exceptionally successful, benefiting end-users and the real sector in the FBiH the most.

One of the most important items discussed during the meeting was the FBiH Development Bank’s public call to commercial banks to express their interest in participating in the World Bank Project administered by the FBiH Development Bank – Project of Recovery and Support to Companies in BiH. Amir Salkanović, President of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank d.d. Sarajevo stated on this occasion that they are very interested in participating in the realization of this project, with the joint statement of the bank leaders that this way of cooperation and domestic businessmen will have significant support in future business.

The Development Bank of FBiH’s activities on the implementation of goals and measures related to the Federation of BiH’s Development Strategy 2021-2027 were also presented, which primarily refers to projects of financing small and medium enterprises for specific activities by ProCredit Bank d.d. Sarajevo.
