ProCredit Bank and the Municipality of Tešanj: Donation Agreement Signed for a Children’s Playground in Tešanj


ProCredit Bank and the Municipality of Tešanj have signed a donation agreement to support the construction of a children’s playground in the municipality of Tešanj. This significant step will contribute to community development by providing a safe and enjoyable space for children and youth to play and recreate.

ProCredit Bank, which opened a new branch in the Tešanj-Jelah municipality in October, will provide financial support for the acquisition of urban furniture to enrich the children’s playground. Social responsibility is an integral part of ProCredit Bank’s mission, actively supporting local initiatives and projects aimed at sustainable community development. Through its numerous programmes, the bank is dedicated to improving education, environmental protection, and supporting social innovations that contribute to social progress. The project is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2024, enabling young children and their families to enjoy modern playground facilities and a secure environment by spring.

Amir Salkanović, President of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank, expressed satisfaction with the bank’s contribution to this project and emphasized its importance to the community. “The playground for children in Tešanj is an initiative we support with great enthusiasm. This donation is not just an investment in equipment and a playground but also in the future of our community. Through this project, we aim to provide children with a safe and inspiring space for play, learning, and socializing,” said Salkanović during the signing of the agreement.

“Tešanj Municipality has the highest natural population growth and the largest number of students in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are focused on supporting young people and young couples. In the coming period, we will build two children’s playgrounds in the Tešanj municipality. Today, we signed an agreement for the realisation of the first one. I am pleased that ProCredit Bank has opened a branch in the Tešanj municipality, supporting the local economy while also considering social responsibility, especially towards the youngest. They have recognized Tešanj Municipality as a partner in implementing such a project, which will provide better conditions for play and socializing for children and youth,” said Municipal Mayor Suad Huskić.

The children’s playground project represents a positive example of partnership between the private sector and local government to enhance the quality of life for citizens and support the youngest members of the community. With the construction of this playground, Tešanj will gain another space where children and youth can rejoice and develop.
