ProCredit Bank BiH has received new upgraded credit rating from Fitch. The rating has been upgraded from "B" to "B+" with an outlook stabile.
For ProCredit Bank BiH, this is another positive trend that justifies the trust of shareholders in the company’s mission and affiliation. It is important to note that our parent company, ProCredit Holding, was also positively evaluated with a credit rating that was already raised to "BBB" from already stable "BBB-". Otherwise, this assessment points to the fact that the risk of impossibility of fulfilling financial obligations is low or is at an extremely low level. The capacity to meet financial obligations is adequate.
To recall, the credit rating of Bosnia and Herzegovina by Standard & Poor’s rating (another rating comany) is "B". It is important to note that the positive assessment of ProCredit Bank BiH is a result and an improvement of the forecast for the general economic and political climate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which points to better ground for investors, which is the conclusion of analysis conducted by Fitch.
