ProCredit Bank and the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina – IDDEEA, a certified trust service provider – today signed a partnership agreement that initiates the process for issuing qualified certificates for remote electronic signatures in all branches of the bank across the country.

In the upcoming period, a certification process will follow, after which all ProCredit Bank clients will be able to apply for an electronic signature directly at the bank’s branches, with detailed information to be provided accordingly.

A qualified electronic signature is the digital equivalent of a handwritten signature, used to confirm the identity of the signer and the authenticity of an electronic document. In the banking sector, it allows clients to conduct transactions, sign contracts, approve loans, and carry out other financial activities more quickly and securely—without the need for physical presence or printing documents.

The implementation of electronic signatures is a key step forward in the development of digital services, enabling faster, simpler, and more secure business operations while eliminating the need for physical presence and excessive administrative procedures.

“Signing this agreement with IDDEEA is a crucial milestone in the continuous development of our digital services that significantly simplify everyday business operations. Our clients will be able to request a qualified electronic signature certified by IDDEEA in all ProCredit Bank branches. The e-signature is an essential tool for more efficient operations for both individuals and companies. This approach will enable us to offer more modern digital solutions to our clients,” emphasized Amir Salkanović, CEO of ProCredit Bank BiH.

ProCredit Bank is a pioneer of digital banking on the Bosnian market. The digitalization process within the bank began as early as 2015, making it the first digital financial institution in the country.

The electronic signature service will be available exclusively to ProCredit Bank clients, further underscoring the bank’s commitment to delivering innovative and accessible digital tools. For more information about the bank’s services, visit www.procreditbank.ba.
