On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, organized by ProCredit Bank and the Ministry of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the ProBiz Brunch networking event was held, gathering a large number of representatives from micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) from the canton and across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event took place at Hotel Zenica, with the aim of strengthening the bank’s cooperation with local businesses and creating a platform for experience sharing and business networking.

ProCredit Bank, which holds a 19% market share in the MSME segment in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, continues to build trust among local enterprises. This confirms ProCredit’s role as a reliable and relevant financial partner in the business community, a position it has maintained for nearly 30 years.

The event was opened by Samir Šibonjić, Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, who emphasized the importance of institutional support for local initiatives, stating:

“The Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton continuously invests in creating a favorable business environment. We are deeply committed to enhancing the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. In this regard, we have a dedicated program focused on this vital pillar of our economy. Joint events with partners like ProCredit Bank demonstrate that open dialogue between institutions and the business sector is the foundation of sustainable development in our canton.”

During the ProBiz Brunch, attending entrepreneurs had the opportunity to share their experiences in working with the bank and engage in open discussions about specific challenges and opportunities for further development.

Merhila Đulić-Mujkanović, Deputy Director of the Sarajevo Branch, stated:

“From day one, our goal has been to be more than just a bank. We want to be long-term partners who understand the needs and challenges of the business sector. That’s why events like this are invaluable—they allow us to communicate directly with clients and co-create sustainable solutions.”
She added that it is essential to hear firsthand from entrepreneurs about their needs in order to shape effective cooperation models with the bank.

The ProBiz Brunch in Zenica is a continuation of a successful initiative launched earlier this year in Gračanica, where the same concept brought together numerous entrepreneurs and business leaders. These gatherings highlight the importance of direct dialogue between banks and the business community—not only for better understanding client needs but also for jointly creating more efficient financial solutions.

ProCredit Bank plans to continue organizing similar events across the country, further strengthening its ties with entrepreneurs and reinforcing its position as a trusted business partner.
