At ProCredit Bank, official RA offices of the certifier of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH (IDDEEA) have been opened. This enables bank clients, for the first time, to obtain a qualified electronic signature—fully legally valid—directly at the bank and immediately use it for business operations, signing banking documentation, as well as for a wide range of digital services in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the press conference, speakers included Amir Salkanović, President of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank, and Management Board member Amina Durmo Trlin, while IDDEEA was represented by Prof. Dr. Almir Badnjević, Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH, and Dijana Joldžić Ogrešević, Assistant Director of IDDEEA and Head of RC Bihać.
“ProCredit has been laying the foundations of digital banking in BiH for years, and once again we are the first to open a new chapter in digitalization. As of today, bank clients can obtain a qualified electronic signature and use it simultaneously for remote business with the Bank. This is one of our most significant digital advancements and an important step toward banking that respects the way people live and work today,” said Amir Salkanović, President of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank.
During the press conference, an example of obtaining and activating the qualified electronic signature was demonstrated. The qualified electronic signature allows clients to digitally and remotely sign documentation. The process was demonstrated live: just a few clicks, a short verification, and the signature was ready to use. In this way, the simplicity of the entire procedure was clearly shown.
The Agency's Director, Prof. Dr. Almir Badnjević, stated that the qualified e-signature is a fundamental tool for secure digital operations, and that citizens can now obtain it quickly and easily and use it not only for banking services but for all other processes in BiH that require electronic identification and signing.
“The result of successful cooperation between IDDEEA BiH and ProCredit Bank is that ProCredit Bank has become the first bank in BiH which, by opening RA certification offices of IDDEEA, has enabled its clients to obtain a free qualified electronic signature directly at the branch. With this joint step, we have provided citizens with a more practical, faster, and more secure way to access modern digital solutions,” emphasized Badnjević.
ProCredit Bank has ensured all technical requirements for opening RA certification offices of the Agency in all ProCredit Bank branches and sub-branches.
