Long-term business success is built on sound decisions, continuous learning, and the ability to evolve alongside the market. Guided by this philosophy, the ProCredit Business Academy is a development programme created by ProCredit Bank for owners, directors, and managers of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

Through practical workshops, hands-on work on real business challenges, peer learning, and mentoring support, the Academy will provide participants with an opportunity to enhance their businesses and develop the skills needed to achieve sustainable, long-term growth. The programme is being implemented simultaneously in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and North Macedonia, bringing together business leaders from various industries and creating a platform for exchanging experiences and best practices.

As Enes Mešić, Director of Sales Support and Business Development at ProCredit Bank, points out, the relationship with clients does not end with the approval of financing.

“We continuously invest in long-term partnerships. We share knowledge and create opportunities for companies to develop the competencies they need to make better business decisions and achieve sustainable growth. We believe that this approach creates the greatest value not only for companies but also for the economy as a whole.”

At ProCredit Bank, we believe that the success of our clients and the success of the Bank go hand in hand. That is why supporting businesses begins with understanding their needs and providing added value through knowledge and development opportunities.

The Business Academy programme is structured around three interconnected modules dedicated to sales, finance, and intrapreneurship, complemented by additional online content covering business digitalisation and the practical application of artificial intelligence tools. The programme also includes a mentoring component for the most successful participants, offering individual support in addressing specific business challenges and achieving their companies’ development goals.

Gojko Rodić, one of the lecturers at the ProCredit Business Academy, explains that the programme’s value lies in its structure and the immediate applicability of the knowledge gained.

“The Academy has been designed as a continuous development process in which each module builds upon the previous one. Through the areas of sales, financial management, and intrapreneurship, participants gradually acquire the knowledge and tools they can apply in their day-to-day business activities. Practical work, the exchange of experiences among participants, and mentoring support add particular value by ensuring that what is learned translates into tangible business results.”

Mešić emphasises that this approach reflects ProCredit’s long-term business philosophy and the way the Bank has been building partnerships with its clients for decades.

“For thirty years, we have been building relationships that last. We have grown together with the companies we work with, and the ProCredit Business Academy was created with the intention of remaining a part of that journey. Business is changing faster than ever before, which is why we believe that investing in knowledge and education is one of the key drivers of success. Together, we will build more resilient, competitive, and successful companies.”

The first cycle of the ProCredit Business Academy will take place in Sarajevo at the Ibis Styles Hotel from September to November 2026. Applications are open until 16 August 2026. More information about the programme, lecturers, and the application process is available here.
